From 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., enjoy a wonderful evening of refreshment and fellowship with the leadership and congregation of Madison Church of God, located at 771 NE Colin Kelly Hwy., in Madison.
During this monthly installment of Business After Hours, guests may indulge in meatballs, chicken wings and meat and fruit trays, along with a side of chips and salsa and a plate of vegetables. Delicious desserts will be offered for those with a sweet tooth.
MCOG is led by Pastor Jason Justus, who has been in full-time ministry for over 20 years. Justus was led by God to Madison in February of 2014 and has since been in the community loving life and loving others. The leadership also includes youth pastor Terry Clark, with over 10 years of ministry experience; Savanna Pitts, children's pastor; and Mike Kirkland, multimedia director.
Aside from regular services, church offers a men's ministry, where they discover how to follow Christ fully, connect with believers strategically and be the men of God they were created to be. A women's ministry is also offered to connect each other as sisters in Christ. This ministry offers a "table talk" the first Monday night of every month.
For the youth, MCOG offers Madison Kids, available for students in Kindergarten through fifth grade. All students in sixth through eighth grade are invited to join Echo Student Ministries.
Gloves must be worn to use utensils in the serving line. Masks are highly recommended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but are not mandatory. For more information about the upcoming Business After Hours, call the Madison County Chamber of Commerce at (850) 973-2788 or MCOG at (850) 973-3339.
