Local author pens children’s books

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com For many years, Mary Martha Santerfeit has worked with the written word. The former Postmaster in Lee, Fla. was also the Assistant Editor of the Mayo Free Press where she wrote a column for the publication for 20 years. Using the pen name Dr. M.M., she has now written two children’s books, “A Dog Named Cow” and “Butter the Butterfly.” She has a third children’s book in the works, “Christmas Chains,” which she hopes to have available soon.
