Dear Madison County,
Eleven years ago, you welcomed a family who had just moved in from Alabama, where we were pastors. You welcomed a family that was outsiders. However, you immediately opened your Madison County arms and accepted my family. For years, Amber and I have said that living in Madison County is like living in a Hallmark Movie. People would wonder why, and we would explain it this way: Madison from Down Home Days, Fancy Fleas, the Fourth of July Fireworks, Light Up Madison, downtown has so much history. Madison is a county where everyone knows everybody, and while we all may have different beliefs, you’re still respected for what you believe. That is why, for over 11 years, this was home to the Justus League!
