The community is invited to come together in support of Harlee Davis as she continues her journey to recovery following recent health challenges. A benefit fundraiser will be held on Friday, July 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Four Freedoms Park, offering food and a chance to give back.
The main event will feature a BBQ chicken dinner plate for $15, which includes BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, green beans and a slice of Mrs. Leslie’s cake. Plates will be available for purchase on-site the day of the event, with no pre-order required for meals.
For those unable to attend in person, delivery is available for orders of five or more plates within city limits only. The community is encouraged to reach out in advance if they would like their meals delivered.
In addition to the meal service, the fundraiser will also include pork loin sales, priced at $25 each. Those interested in purchasing pork loins are asked to text their name and quantity requested for pre-ordering purposes. Payments and donations can be made via CashApp at $DeniseDyal or Venmo @Denise-Dyal.
Donations are also being accepted to help offset the cost of the fundraiser. Any funds raised beyond event expenses will go directly to Davis to help support her recovery needs. “Through it all, I will stand… God is still good,” Davis shared.
To pre-order or get more information about the event, contact Denise Dyal at (850) 869-0390, who is coordinating pork loin pre-orders and general donations, and Lynne Brown at (850) 464-1350, who is handling donation inquiries.
