Graveside services for Jacqueline "Jackie" Purvis Sircy, 72, of Greenville, Fla., were held on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Concord Missionary Baptist Church, in Greenville, Fla., with James Brown officiating. Born Dec. 29,1949 in Quitman, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Homer Donald Purvis and Gurley Louise Seago. Ms. Jackie passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville and a retired school teacher. Ms. Jackie spent her life with the love for horses, teaching her daughter, grandchildren and many other children how to ride a horse and compete in the sport of barrel racing. She was a member of Deep Dixie Association and the Georgia Federation of Saddle Clubs where she was loved by many children and adults. Ms. Jackie is survived by her daughter, Victoria Sircy Lee (Severin), grandchildren: Ricki Adkinson, Ryder Adkinson, Elaina Lee and Connor Lee; niece, Michelle Yates and a host of children. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ricky Yates and Dale Yates. The family met with friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., prior to the service in the social hall of Concord Missionary Baptist Church, located at 829 NW Concord Church Rd., in Greenville. Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, located in Pelham, Ga., was in charge of arrangements.
