The folks at Full Circle Dairy, in Lee, recently had a special visitor. Ross Matiscik, from the Jacksonville Jaguars, visited the dairy farm and talked with the Watts family about the farm and, of course, football.
Matiscik is in his third season with the Jaguars after being signed as a rookie free agent in 2020, from Baylor University. He currently serves as a long-snapper for the Jaguars. He is also involved with the “Fuel Up to Play 60” program. “Fuel Up to Play 60” has teamed up with the National Football League and the National Dairy Council to encourage young people to get at least 60 minutes of exercise and enjoy a healthy diet, which includes, of course, nutrient-rich milk.
“It’s very important to always promote our message and our story,” said Philip Watts, of Full Circle Dairy. “I like to share our message about caring for our animals and the wholesome product we produce. Having Ross out here reassured that message, and I’m happy other people can see our interactions.”
