In a recent interview with Greene Publishing, Inc., Madison Police Department Chief Reggie Alexander said his office continues to work with the State's Attorney's office while investigating the case of a shooting that occurred in the afternoon hours of Tuesday, Dec. 20.
The shooting left 29-year-old Preanna McNeal-Ross, of Jennings, Fla. dead. It is believed the shooting stemmed from an altercation that began at the Hilltop Apartments and made its way to nearby Pete Mobley Avenue.
Although he had no new information to release, Chief Alexander did reiterate that there is no further threat to the community at large from the incident. If anyone has any information on the incident, they are asked to contact the Madison Police Department at (850) 973-5077.
