Although it has been a couple of years since Hurricane Idalia ravaged North Central Florida, many families are still dealing with the devastation left in the wake of the storm. Help is still available for these families. Endeavors, a non-profit organization headquartered in San Antonio, Texas can provide client-focused services for those residents still feeling the impacts of the storm.
Endeavors can help residents in a number of ways, including:
• Making recovery plans for the impacted by presidentially declared disasters;
• Coordination of referrals to volunteer groups involved in disaster recovery and construction;
• Partnering with local long-term recovery groups to access funding for unmet needs;
• Working with families and individuals to develop recovery plans and work towards full recovery.
Nationwide, Endeavors has served over 4,200 families impacted by natural disasters. While they do not provide direct financial assistance, they can help locate resources and financial assistance to help their clients complete their recovery plans.
