Madison County businesses have an opportunity to apply for a business grant as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The Madison Cares Small Business Assistance Grant Program is currently taking applications for grants to assist local small businesses.
Madison County will be providing up to $300,000 for small businesses in the county to help offset the temporary loss of revenue due to the COVID-19 virus. Applicants may apply for up to $5,000. Local businesses may apply for help to cover employee wages, vendor bills, rent, utilities and employee and customer safety costs.
Applications are available at the Madison County Clerk of Court's office or online at madisoncountyfl.com.
