Hanson Christmas Lights going dark

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com   For many years, locals have enjoyed the annual Hanson Christmas Lights show along Colin Kelly Highway between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve. It has been since 2022 that the light show has been seen. In 2023, the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia caused the cancellation of the annual show. Since then, health issues and other factors have caused the delay in reigniting the holiday tradition. Recently, Jeff Messer, the show’s designer, mad
