The voters in the Town of Greenville will be able to make their voices heard on regarding the direction of the town on Tuesday, Nov. 4, when they choose three members to serve on the town’s council. All the candidates are either currently serving or have served on the town’s governing body in the past. All registered voters who live within the town limits of Greenville may vote in any of the races.
In the Group One race, incumbent Chiquila Pleas will face former Council Member Calvin Malone. The Group Two race will have incumbent Mayor Ryan Kornegay appearing on the ballot with former Council Member Kovacherich Arnold. The third seat being decided is the Group Five seat, which will pit incumbent Vice-Mayor Robin Housh against former Council Member Kathleen Hamilton.
Voters may cast their ballot on Tuesday, Nov. 4, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the American Legion Post, located at 133 SW Broad Ave., in Greenville. This will be the sole voting location for this election.
