For anyone interested in running for office on the Greenville Town Council, the qualifying period has begun and will continue until Friday, June 12, at 12 p.m. Two seats on the council to be voted on include the Group Three seat, currently occupied by Barbara Dansey and the Group Four Seat, currently held by Carl Livingston. If more than three candidates qualify for either of the seats, the names will appear on the Tuesday, Aug 18 primary ballot. If only two candidates qualify for either of the seats, they will appear on the Tuesday, Nov. 3 general election ballot.
Candidate qualifying forms may be obtained by visiting the Town of Greenville website at www.mygreenvillefl.com.
