A political forum, hosted by Greene Publishing, Inc., is being planned for those seeking seats on the Greenville Town Council. The forum is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. The forum will take place in the new community center, located next to Town Hall.
All eight candidate seeking seats on the Greenville Town Council have been invited to attend. Questions will be asked of each candidate and each candidate will be given an equal amount of time in which to answer. Candidates will also be given an opportunity to present their own prepared statements.
The current candidates for the Greenville Town Council include: Seat One Incumbent Kathleen Hamilton and challenger Chiquilia Pleas; Seat Two Incumbent Calvin Malone and challenger Ryan Kornegay; Seat Three candidates Barbara Dansey and Brandi Tillman and Seat Five candidates Carl Livingston and Robin Housh. The election for the Greenville Town Council is set to take place on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
