Devyn LeBlanc is 19 years of age and resides in Hanson. She was born in Boynton Beach, Fla. where she was adopted by Keligh Boyd and Russell LeBlanc. She is from Orlando, Fla., there she lived with her mom until she moved to Madison at the age of 17 to meet her biological sister, Susan McCool. Devyn graduated with the class of 2020 from James Madison Preparatory High School and is now a full-time student at Saint Leo University Online where she is currently obtaining a Bachelor's degree in clinical psychology. She hopes to move forward and receive her Doctorate in neuro-clinical psychology with a focus on mental health research where she will conduct research studies on modern day mental health and how it directly relates to the cognitive well-being of our minds. From her research, she then hopes to become a professor and teach on the matter.
Aside from her studies, she has an enthusiastic love for horses. Her mom introduced her to the equine world before she even learned to walk. Devyn has been around horses her entire life and has grown up learning how to ride and train horses. She has a focus on both Western and English riding styles, but she much prefers Hunter-Jumping as it was the first thing she learned when she started to ride. Being an equestrian, Devyn was also introduced to Florida 4-H where she started as a Cloverbud and recently graduated out of the program when she graduated high school. Florida 4-H played a very big role in Devyn's life as it gave her the opportunities she needed to become more outgoing and blossom into the person she is today. Devyn states that she has found comfort in Madison and that she is excited to continue her life here and to explore the opportunities she has been given to see where the road ahead leads.
