For those of you who may not have been paying close attention, this past Monday was Thanksgiving Day in Canada. Now, I can hear some of the collective responses now. “Why should I care about that? I’m not Canadian.” I do admit, for most folks reading this, Canadian Thanksgiving is probably not a big deal. But, for me, the holiday has a big significance.
There are many who insist that Christmas music shall not be played until after Thanksgiving. I tend to disagree with this particular philosophy. I like what one friend told me once. “The Christmas music starts as soon as the last house is trick-or-treated.” Now, that’s someone who is on the same wavelength as I am.
