Frank Mitchell Howard, 86, of Monticello's Ashville Community, passed on Friday, April 25, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, May 3, at New Zion M.B. Church, with burial in Ashville Community Cemetery. Viewing and visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., on Friday, May 2, at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO, (850) 997-5553. Mr. Howard worked at Sherrod's Lumber Co., in Greenville, before embarking on a long career with Simpson Nurseries. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener.
Survivors include his sons: William (Valencia), Robert (Yvonne) and Jimmy (Janine) Howard; daughters: Ellen (Greg) Cooley, Alacia (Kenneth) Spencer and Daphne Hardwick; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; siblings: Elmer (Leola) Bellamy, Ernestine Bellamy and Liza (Nathaniel) McQuay and numerous other relatives and friends.
