Those who attended First Baptist Church of Madison on Sunday, April 5, left the sanctuary with full hearts.
A big day of worship was had at 11 a.m., with the choir performing their Easter cantata. After the worship service was over, attendees headed to the Fellowship Hall where lunch was served. It was southern home cooking at its finest, with a large table of desserts to top off the meal.
Finally, the event of the hour for the kids, the annual Easter-egg hunt was held at Greene Publishing, Inc. Church attendees drove over to the location, where kids of all ages hunted for candy-filled eggs.
