Ernest Alexander, Sr.

Ernest Alexander, Sr., 79, of Miami Gardens, Fla., passed on Saturday, June 1, 2024.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, June 15, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, in Monticello, with burial in Alexander Family Cemetery, in Greenville.  A native of Greenville, Mr. Alexander had long-time lived in Miami since 1965.  He was a licensed, self-employed barber and a retired supervisor for Miami-Dade Metro Transit.  He was a longtime Jehovah's Witness in Miami's Crestview Congregation. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Brunson Alexander; son, Ernest (Renna) Alexander, II; daughters: Ingeborg (Leroy) McGee, Yvette and Iris Alexander; brothers, John and Joe Alexander; sister, Marvin (Ivory) Tillman; five grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
