Thanks to a Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) grant through the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Duval Pond Road’s paving project is nearing completion.
The $3,386,378.57 grant provided the vast majority of the funds needed and the paving is complete, with only some sodding and other minor details needed to finish the job.
The major task began in April and is estimated to be completed by the end of the year. Curt’s Construction, Inc., in White Springs, Fla., was contracted for the project.
