It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Lee Bradfield, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and community member. He was 91 years old. Don dedicated his life to the agricultural industry, first farming in Northern Indiana before moving to Lee, Fla., in 1979, where he purchased a hog farm.
For over two decades in Indiana, Don served as a passionate 4-H leader, mentoring countless children. In Florida, he raised championship hogs for the 4-H and FFA programs. His commitment to the community was recognized when he was named Outstanding Farm Family of the Year for Northern Florida in 1986 and Florida's Swine Producer in 1992. His selflessness and dedication shone through in all aspects of his life, including his contributions to Beulah Baptist Church, where he was an active member and played a pivotal role in constructing the new sanctuary and fellowship hall, exemplifying his unwavering life-long Christian faith.
