On Tuesday, Sep. 5, NW Florida District Director Katie Doughty, with Sen. Rick Scott’s office, met with Madison County residents at The Bridge (formerly Faith Baptist Church) to provide disaster-relief assistance following Hurricane Idalia’s rampage through Madison County on Wednesday, Aug. 30. Doughty registered residents for email updates as they become available and provided registration information for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
For those facing a crisis-cleanup situation, call the crisis cleanup hotline at (800) 451-1954. Their services include mold removal, tarps, drywall and appliance removal.
