Deputy involved shooting in Madison County

Hailey Waldo reporter@greenepublishing.com According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), on Saturday, Feb. 21, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the MCSO received a mutual aid request for K-9 assistance from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), due to an adult male that had fled from a residence into the woods, possibly armed with a rifle. MCSO’s canines responded to the provided location, and prepared to deploy MCSO patrol certified canine to begin tracking the suspect.
