The democratic meet and greet was held last Friday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. at Four Freedoms Park. Several politicians made their appearance to speak and mingle with the citizens. This was an excellent opportunity for people to ask specific questions and receive answers directly. Some stands were giving away items such as face masks with campaign slogans, campaign signs, business cards, pens and maps. Sharon Postell, Chairperson for the Madison Democrat Party, described the turnout as "decent." When asked what advice she would have for a young first-time voter who is unsure of who to vote for, she simply stated "do your research and don't buy into propaganda."Democratic meet and greet
