Cowgirls win district championship

Rick Patrick  rick@greenepublishing.com Before the Madison County High School (MCHS) Cowgirls made the short trip to Aucilla to face the Lafayette High School Lady Hornets for the Rural Class District Five Softball Championship, senior Cowgirl Erin Burnett spoke to the team. She gave her fellow Cowgirls a word of warning. The previous year, the Cowgirls faced an Aucilla Christian Academy Lady Warriors team that the Cowgirls had previously beaten twice that year. In that district champions
