Cowgirls weightlifting team has high hopes

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com At Madison County High School (MCHS) it’s not just the Cowboys who can be seen in the weight room, pumping iron while preparing for time under the Friday night lights. There is a group of young women who are putting in the work and getting stronger as the MCHS Cowgirls weightlifting team. Under the leadership of Coach Jimmy Brown, these girls have their sights set on success during the season. In competitive weightlifting, the girls and boys compete
