Cowgirls weightlifting places third in district

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com The Madison County High School (MCHS) Cowgirls had a strong showing recently at the Class 1A District Four weightlifting meet, held at Suwannee High School, on Friday, Jan. 23. Cowgirl Mallory Collinsworth was the District Champ in the 119-pound weight class. Collinsworth turned in a 135 pound bench press and a 145 clean, for a total lift of 280 pounds.
