Cowgirls take another District Championship

Rick Patrick  rick@greenepublishing.com On Friday, Feb. 9, the Madison County High School (MCHS) Cowgirls varsity basketball team chalked up their fifth straight district title when they defeated the Red Flashes of Hilliard High School in the Class 1A District Five tournament at Hamilton County High School. The Cowgirls advanced to the district tournament final after a 59-29 thumping of the Lady Trojans of Hamilton County High School in the district semi-final game on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
