Cowgirls improve record

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com The Madison County High School (MCHS) Cowgirls turned 13 hits into 14 runs when they defeated the Hornets of Lafayette High School, 14-1, in Mayo, on Friday, Feb. 20. The Cowgirls went out to an early 3-0 lead after the opening inning, then added three more runs in the top of the second inning.
