Cowgirls have tough start to season

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com The Madison County High School (MCHS) Cowgirls softball teams started their 2026 season with a long road trip on Tuesday, Feb. 17, when they traveled to Jacksonville to face the Fighting Christians of University Christian High School. Both the junior varsity and varsity teams were defeated by very good University Christian teams. The action began with the junior varsity teams taking the field.
