Cowgirls advance to region championship

Rick Patrick  rick@greenepublishing.com The Madison County High School (MCHS) Cowgirls varsity softball team has advanced to the “Elite Eight” in the Class Rural State Softball Tournament. On Thursday, May 8, the Cowgirls hosted the Lady Tigers of Union County High School in the Region Three semi-final game. The Cowgirls built a 3-0 lead after three innings.
