Cowboys fall to Valiants

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com It was a tough return from spring break for the Madison County High School (MCHS) Cowboys varsity baseball team as they traveled to Valdosta, Ga. on Tuesday, March 24, to face the Valiants of Valwood School. The contest looked promising when Harper Bass belted a solo home run in the top of the second inning to give the Cowboys a 1-0 lead. That would end up being the only offensive firepower the Cowboys could muster as the Valiants went on to score 11 unan
