Cowboy golfers take a swing at Hornets

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com   It was a beautiful day to be on the links on Tuesday, Sept. 2, when the Madison County High School (MCHS) golf team met the Lafayette High School golfers at the Madison RV and Golf Resort. In the end, it was the Hornets who would carry the day by close to 30 strokes. The lowest score of the day was shot by Lafayette’s Harrison Jackson, who shot a one-over-par 37 in the nine-hole competition. The final was Lafayette 157 to Madison’s 185.[
