Cornerstone Cafe was the location for Coffee with Vets, on Friday, April 24. Veterans Services Representatives Charlie Fulmer and Shalonda Francis, along with Madison County Memorial Hospital (MCMH) Executive and Marketing Liaison CeAaron Plunkett, hosted the event. State Veterans’ Service Officer David Dishman was also on hand to answer questions and help veterans find the services they needed. Along with great coffee and conversation, area veterans were provided a wide variety of information and resources to help make obtaining services more convenient.
Many veterans make numerous trips to Lake City, Fla. to visit the Lake City VA Medical Center. Thanks to the hospital’s partnership with the Veteran’s Wellness Support Program at MCMH, veterans now have access to a vast array of medical services, through the VA, at MCMH. Their services include whole health, mental health and mobile care services.
If you need more information about these and other available services, call (850) 253-1907. Both Francis and Fulmer can be reached by calling CareerSource North Florida at (850) 973-9675.
