Child Abuse Prevention Month: Protecting our children

Each year, the month is set aside as a time to raise awareness about child abuse and neglect, while also encouraging communities to take an active role in protecting children. Child abuse comes in many forms, including physical, emotional and sexual abuse, as well as neglect. While these issues can be difficult to discuss, the Centers for Disease Control say awareness and early action a
