Timmy Dyke will be firing up the grill again to help raise money for a great cause. Chicken dinners will be sold on Saturday, March 13, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Pinetta. The church is located at 10285 NE Colin Kelly Hwy., in Pinetta. The cost is $10 per plate and includes Dyke's famous grilled chicken, baked beans, yellow rice, rolls and dessert.
The funds raised will go to help Shannon McHargue Curtis' family cover expenses related to her recent liver transplant. Anyone who can't make it to the dinner, but would still like to help this family is encouraged to make a donation to the Shannon Curtis Fund, which has been established at Madison County Community Bank.
To pre-order a dinner, email vonnied@yahoo.com or call (850) 673-7031. Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, this will be a take-out only event. Plates will be prepared and ready for drive-thru pick-up.
