Boyz to Kings (BTK), the local youth mentoring and development program has again been nominated in the guidetoflorida.com website’s Best of Florida listings. BTK won a “Best of Florida” distinction last year and is up for consideration again this year in the “Family Services” category. Visitors to the website may vote for their favorite organization or business in a wide variety of categories. Visitors may vote once per day. Voting for the 2024 Best of Florida ends on Wednesday, July 31, at 11:59 p.m. The 2024 results will be posted online on Saturday, Aug. 31. The 2024 Best of Florida print version will be released in October.
BTK is a “designated 501(c)3 dropout prevention and intervention mentoring program built on 12 guiding principles and based on non-traditional and self-accountability practices.” The services provided by Boyz to Kings is modeled after a “research based, proven and time-tested mentoring program designed to teach, mentor and empower at-risk kids for their journey to college, career and life.”
