Live Oak resident Joan Holmes-Radford has recently released her first book, which details her journey through grief after the sudden passing of her son, Barry Roberson.
Radford will be autographing books at Grumpy's Diner, in Madison, on Saturday, March 27, from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Radford's hope for readers is that they will find comfort and hope through her story and that they will grow in their trust of the sovereignty of God.
Besides purchasing Radford's book, those in attendance will also be treated to a slice of buttermilk pie, courtesy of Grumpy's Diner, located at 244 SW Range Ave., in Madison.
