On Wednesday, Aug. 10, the Madison County Memorial Hospital (MCMH) held a fundraising book fair that was open to hospital staff and the public alike.
The event took place from 7 a.m. and continued throughout the day until 2 p.m.
Henry Niemi (left) and Arthur Rines (right), both from booksarefun.com, staffed the fundraising book fair that was held at Madison County Memorial Hospital. All funds from the book fair went towards supporting various in-hospital organizations.
Books, gift items and various craft-related projects were on sale throughout the book fair and a portion of the proceeds gathered through the event was given to MCMH to place towards supporting in-hospital organizations. The fair was produced through a partnership between MCMH and booksarefun.com and was staffed by Books Are Fun employees.
Another book fair is planned to be held sometime in November.
