Amphetamine trafficking charge leads to prison

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com   During felony court proceedings in the Madison County Courthouse on Tuesday, Sept. 30, Brandon Ballard, 39, of Valdosta, Ga., appeared before the Hon. Melissa Olin. Ballard was facing a charge of trafficking in amphetamine, stemming from an incident in February of 2025, where Ballard was found in possession of methamphetamine within the Madison County Jail. Ballard entered a negotiated guilty plea and was adjudicated guilty and was sentenced
