American flags to fly again

Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com The American Legion Post 224, in Cherry Lake will once again be sponsoring dozens of U.S. flags to be flown around the Madison County Courthouse and Four Freedoms Park. The flags will be placed on Friday, May 22, and will remain in place until Sunday, July 5. The cost of sponsoring a flag is $50 and proceeds will be used to fund various community service projects undertaken by the club each year. The deadline to sponsor a flag is Saturday, May 9. For m
