On Saturday, March 14, Abundant Grace United Methodist Church will be hosting an Animal Blessing event, beginning at 10 a.m. with a K-9 demonstration from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), followed by a blessing service at 10:30 a.m. The service will end with a walk-up animal blessing at 11 a.m., where attendees may bring their animals to receive a personalized blessing over both the animal and caretaker. All animals are welcome to the event, however they must be constrained properly. Some of the organizations in attendance to receive the animal blessing are Madison Veterinary Clinic, MCSO K-9 handlers, several animal shelters and more.
