On Saturday, Jan. 20, at 9 a.m., there will be a 5k run/walk in memory of Brandie Kay Littleton and to benefit Big Bend Hospice— who helped her leave this world peacefully.
Littleton died from colon cancer in January of 2022, at the age of 36. She had been diagnosed with familial adenomatous polyposis, a genetic disease that may not have been fatal if caught earlier.
Littleton was a member of the Class of 2003 at Madison County High School. She was a Behavior Specialist at the Apalachee Center for Human Services.
Run/walk and commit to your cancer and chronic disease screening. The 5k for B-Kay will be held at Lake Francis, in Madison. The price for the 5k is $40 with t-shirt proceeds going to Big Bend Hospice. The cost will be $25 for a t-shirt only.
