First Baptist Church holds exciting Easter Egg Hunt

First Baptist Church of Madison held their annual egg hunt in celebration of Easter on Sunday, March 29. After the church service, churchgoers enjoyed lunch in the fellowship hall before heading to the Greene Publishing office to hunt eggs.

Marcus Holbrook read to the kids from a children’s Bible, telling the story of Jesus’ resurrection. Then it was the part the kids had been looking forward to — over one thousand Easter eggs were hidden throughout the yard of Greene Publishing, and the air was full of laughter and delighted squeals as each child spotted them.

After the last egg had been found, the kids took inventory of the egg contents and snuck more than a few pieces of candy. The 2026 Madison First Baptist Church Easter Egg Hunt celebration was a success, and they look forward to next year.
