During the regular lunchtime meeting of theMadison Rotary Club on Wednesday, Jan. 11, thelocal Rotarians heard a program presented byEmily Margulis, Co-President of a Rotary Club onLong Island, in New York. Margulis presented aprogram on an assistance program called“Sustainable Cambodia.”Sustainable Cambodia is a program,headquartered in Gainesville, Fla., that “works withthe families of rural Cambodian villages to helpthem achieve sustainability and self-sufficiencythrough wells, irrigation systems, schools, trainingand empowerment.” Rotary International is one ofthe major corporate sponsors of SustainableCambodia.
