St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church, located at 5905 NW Lovett Rd., in Greenville, is holding a Vacation Bible School (VBS) from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. for children/teens ages zero through 18. This year’s theme is “Magnified”. There will be bible lessons, music, arts and crafts, games and prices and recreation nightly at St. John’s VBS. The North Florida College (NFC) Kelly Fitness and Wellness Camp for children six through 12-years-old will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Here campers will gain knowledge about personal wellness. During this camp, participants will compete in fitness challenge about mindfulness and nutrition education. Campers will also participate in yoga, strength training, various cardio games and wellness workshops. This camp will end with a fitness challenge and certificates for all participants. This camp is $50 per week. From 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m., there will be warm-ups and stretching. Then, following that, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. there will be strength and cardio circuits. A snack and hydration break will take place from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Starting at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., there will be mindfulness and yoga. CrossPoint Madison, located at 688 N Washington Ave., in Madison, is holding their first DPKamp (VBS) at the CrossPoint Madison Campus from 8:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Children ages three through rising fifth-graders are invited to CrossPointe’s VBS. Kindergarten through fifth-graders will have multiple paths to choose from and Pre-K will have their own set activities. The theme for CrossPointe Madison’s VBS is Ohana, where your kids will learn what it means to be “a part of the family of God”. Your children will learn about God, engage in fun activities, snack time; etc. Children will enjoy arts and crafts, STEM, outdoor games, Lego building battles and much more. The North Florida College (NFC) Theatre Stars Camp will be held from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m., with campers enjoying activities like acting workshops, character development, stage movement, script reading, improv and costume/set design. Children ages eight through 16-years-old are able to join the NFC Theatre Stars Camp. The participants will perform live on the last day of camp to show their relatives what they have learned at NFC’s Theatre Stars Camp. This camp is $50 per week. From 8:00 a.m. until 8:15 a.m., there will be warm-ups and icebreakers (which consists of theatre games and vocal warmups). An Acting and Improv workshop will be held from 8:15 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. During this activity, participants will have scene practice and group exercises. The Character Development section will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., with monologue work and script analysis. From 9:45 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., campers will receive a break. Stage Movement and Blocking, which is learning how to move on stage, will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Then, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., there will be Set Design and Rehearsal, which involves scene practices and costume/prop work. With the end of the school year in sight and summer right around the corner, it’s time to register for the Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Summer Camp. Registration for the camp runs from Monday, April 28 through Friday, May 9. The camp is free and space is limited, so don’t delay. The camp is for youngsters age eight through 17. The hours each day are from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., with pick-up from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The drop-off and pick-up location will be at the North Florida College Public Safety Academy, located at 639 NW Mockingbird Trail, in Madison. This year’s camp promises to be a fun and educational experience for everyone. The camp will include faith-based mini-leadership training sessions that will focus on teamwork, structure, love and discipline. Other activities will include confidence building courses, archery, firearms safety and marksmanship, emergency preparedness and more. There will also be K9 demonstrations and tracking, fire safety, wildlife familiarization and management and more. MCSO personnel will facilitate and provide instruction during the camp. To register your child, simply stop by the MCSO, located at 2364 W. US 90, in Madison. The MCSO Summer Camp is funded in part by private and business donations to the Sheriff’s Office Charities. Hopewell Baptist Church, located at 4611 SW County Rd. 360, in Madison, will have their “Discovering the Bigness of God in the Smallest of Things” VBS from 5:45 p.m. until 8:45 p.m. Hopewell will offer activities for PreK through adults.

First Baptist Church of Pinetta, located at 10285 NE Colin Kelly Hwy., in Pinetta, will be holding their VBS from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. They will offer classes to PreK through 12 grade and will also have an adult class available.

The North Florida College (NFC) Culinary Creations Camp will be held for children ages seven through 13-years-old from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. At this camp, participants will gain knowledge on kitchen safety, recipes and cooking techniques. There will be competitions, baking, nutrition basics and meal planning. This camp will end with a tasting showcase from all the participants. The camp is $50 per week. From 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., participants will learn about kitchen safety and sanitation basics. Knife skills and cooking techniques will be taught starting at 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 pm. Following this activity, participants will partake in snack and recipe discussion from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. From 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., a baking and pastry workshop will be held. For the last activity participants will be holding a create and taste- mini cooking competition, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Registration is open to the first 12 students. The North Florida College (NFC) Industrial Machinery Maintenance Starter Camp will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for participants 15-year-old and above. Here, participants will be able to gain hands-on knowledge about working with electric motors, machining, hydraulics and welding. Industrial machinery and mechanics careers will also be discussed. This camp is $75 per week. On the first day, participants will undergo precision measurement and blueprint reading demonstrations. Then on day two, there will be machining hex nut and bolt and threaded parts Lathe. Then, on day three, participants will be allowed to use an electrical multi meter to test voltage, resistance, amperage and continuity. On day four, there will be a PVC pipe and copper pipe project where participants will work from sketches. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and North Florida College (NFC) are partnering together to bring residents an MCSO Youth Adventure Camp from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. This camp is eligible for ages eight through 17-years-old. During this camp, participants will be able to learn about K9 units, investigation techniques, police work and emergency response skills from Madison County law enforcement professionals. The Middle Florida Baptist Association and the Lake Pickett 2025 camp staff are excited to announce registration for E.C. Tyner Children’s camp at Pickett Lake, in Branford, Fla., is open. E.C. Tyner Children’s overnight camp at Pickett Lake is filled with various tracks for your children to enjoy alongside singing worship songs. During this camp, children will have the opportunity to explore local conservation, wildlife and outdoor skills, while hiking, animal tracking, identifying plants and outdoor games. The camp will end with a pining of Wild Wonder Nature. The camp is $50 per week.
