A driver and his passengers suffered minor injuries when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree on Interstate 10 near mile marker 266 on Saturday, August 1 at 5 p.m. Yariel La Rosa Mrna, 27, of Tampa, Fl. was traveling east on I-10 at mile marker 266 in the inside eastbound lane in his 2006 Porsche SUV. Mrna lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the roadway while rotating in a counterclockwise manner. The vehicle traveled onto the south shoulder of I-10 and struck a tree. The vehicle the rotated counterclockwise and came to a final rest facing a northeasterly direction. Mrna and his two passengers, Chisthian Perez, 18, of Hialeah, Fl. and Julio Curz, 20, of Hialeah, Fl. were transported to Madison County Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. Mrna was charged with failure to use due care.
