A single vehicle wreck left one man facing charges of careless driving and no driver’s license.
According to Florida Highway Patrol reports, on Friday, Sept. 15 at 9:37 a.m., Enrique Loredo, 20, of Cocoa, Fl., was traveling eastbound on Interstate 10, near the Lee weigh-station. For unknown reasons, his 2006 F-150 pick-up truck veered off the left side of the roadway into the median of I-10. Loredo over-corrected and the truck veered off the right side of the roadway, rotated counter-clockwise and overturned onto its passenger side. The truck came to a final rest facing east, upside down, off the right shoulder of the roadway.
Loredo and his four passengers were all checked on scene by Madison County EMS and found to have no injuries.
FHP Trooper Wright was in charge of the investigation. Madison County EMS and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office assisted on scene.
