Women’s Conference less than one month away

Make plans to attend the inaugural Women Conference 2014, set for Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Van H. Priest Auditorium in Madison at 6 p.m. The night will be filled with power-packed singing and worship. Dr. Dawn Knighton of Daytona Beach will be the guest speaker.
“I’m so excited about this event,” said Catherine Murphy, event coordinator and president of Women Led By God. “This is something we haven’t done in Madison County, and we want to unite with all people and fellowship and worship Jesus Christ.”
Knighton will be the keynote speaker for the evening. She currently serves as the director of Covenant Bible College and Seminary in Daytona.
Musical artists scheduled to appear are: LifeSong; Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Madison; Dr. Elsie Napier, pastor of Teach Ministries in Valdosta, Ga.; Cheryl Williams Placzkowski and Karen Brown; Dominion and Pastor Alfonso Ross of Live Oak; and Keshia Robinson McGee.
Throughout the evening, there will be inspirational words of praise, a testimonial service from women who have been from prison to the palace, an altar call and door prizes.
The event is sponsored by Women Led By God.
Murphy said the event is open to anyone who would like to participate in the event.
