Investigators woke the female up and identified her as Lois Christian. Christian was instructed to exit the Hyundai.  Investigators detected a strong odor of an intoxicating beverage coming from Christian and initiated a D.U.I. investigation.

Christian refused to cooperate or perform Standard Field Sobriety Exercises to determine her ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. Based on the observations of the investigators and Christian’s refusal to cooperate, she was arrested without incident.

Once arriving at the Madison County Jail, Christian further refused to provide a breath sample. She was charged with D.U.I. and refusal to submit.
