If you have issues to discuss and want to bring the issue at hand to your US Senator, now is your chance. On Thursday, Feb. 15, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., a representative from US Senator Bill Nelson's office will set up a mobile office in the Madison County Courthouse, Room 108.
Bill Nelson, serving along side Senator Marco Rubio, has been in the Senate since 2001. Nelson became a part of Congress in 1986 until retiring in 1990 to run for Governor of Florida. Serving under Gov. Lawton Chiles, Nelson was appointed Treasurer, Insurance Commissioner and Fire Marshal of Florida, serving from 1995 to 2001.
